SilkRoad's Candidate Experience enabled TopBuild to provide a mobile application process that candidates could complete in less than 2 minutes, leading to a 35% increase in applications in 30 days.
TopBuild's application process was not mobile friendly and required a candidate to complete up to 5 separate forms to apply to any open position. SilkRoad, using their Google Analytics reporting integration, analyzed TopBuild's existing portal traffic to determine a strategy to increase applications. It was discovered that more than 60% of all traffic to the TopBuild portals were candidates on mobile devices and most left the site in less than 2 minutes without applying. Updating the career portal enabled TopBuild to provide a mobile experience that allowed candidates to complete the application process in less than 2 minute, leading to a 35% increase in applications in the first 30 days.
