NCSOFT Provides an Engaging Onboarding Experience with SilkRoad
My name is Tresa Hoang and I’m the HR Director of operations for NCSOFT. The business issues that we were facing were that the inconsistency in our onboarding practices was very evident the new hire experience that our employees were going through was not consistent and we knew we had to solve those problems. The other issue we had was the paperwork and the manual processes that our teams were managing out in the field was time-consuming when we first embarked on this project we weren’t sure what to expect and when we met with our implementation specialist and she started to outline the project scope and what it would look like it put us at ease. We are a software gaming company and what we tried to do with our portal is what we called gamification. We introduced animation to the portal. It‘s really a fun portal and we also make sure that the gaming nomenclature was introduced.
I mean I’ll tell you a story. We were just sitting downstairs just now talking with a gal who’s thinking about implementing onboarding, and she’s from Atlanta and telling us about some of her business issues. And you know, we couldn’t say anything better about the experience we’ve had so far with SilkRoad.
If I could describe SilkRoad in a single word, it would be innovative. I believe, in my experience, SilkRoad has been a great partner and the tools that they’re introducing to the marketplace are very Innovative and I would like to continue to be a great partner with them.
