Earlier this month, SilkRoad released a new podcast series: Workforce 2030. Throughout the coming months, we’ll be hosting conversations with leading talent management experts, business leaders and industry disrupters on topics about the future of work. This week Jennifer Fondrevay joins our host, Alexandra Levit, to discuss the workforce issues surrounding Mergers & Acquisitions and the effect of those events on talent. She works with forward-thinking business leaders, owners and executives to pre-plan their people strategy through the phases of M&A so their employees can contribute from Day 1.

During this week’s conversation, Jennifer and Alexandra discuss the topic of M&A from how organizations handled M&A historically and how this will shift, to the ups and downs of M&A, successes and failures, and the benefit of bringing in a human capital advisor to address people challenges. With the workforce changing in the time of automation and AI, Jennifer shares her expertise on how people can go into an M&A and use data to make people development and talent management decisions and agility to adapt and evolve roles in partnership with technology.
