IPG Mediabrands Awarded Honorable Mention for Corporate University of the Year

Recently, IPG Mediabrands was awarded honorable mention for Corporate University of the Year at the CUBIC Awards. The Corporate University Best-In-Class Awards were established to honor, recognize and promote internal training organizations and corporate universities that set standards of excellence in a variety of categories relating to performance and results.

Julie recently published an article in Forbes titled: How to Create a Learning Culture That People Actually Want To Be Apart Of.

To do this, Julie says that “you need to focus on how you can create a learning environment that is partly created by, and belongs to, the workforce. When they see themselves in the learning program, they will participate”. Julie goes on to say that it’s important to leverage feedback from the workforce to create learning programs that are interesting and relevant. Most importantly, it gives them a compelling reason to keep learning throughout the entire employee life cycle.
