Full-Text Searching

A full index of the documents submitted into the system is created and keywords are dynamically created based upon the content of the document, going beyond just searching for titles and metadata. These keywords are searchable as well as the full text of the documents, upon the option of the user.

Deliver the Right Results to Specific Audiences

SilkRoad's content management site indexing is dynamic and permission-based on the access rights of the user searching. Before the search results are returned the content is referenced against the users' rights. If the user does not have permission to view certain content the reference to that content is removed from the search return so that a user can't attempt to access a page they don't have access to.

Featured Pages

You can designate featured pages to be listed at the top of search results, and can even designate specific featured pages based on the term being searched on, ensuring any information you wish to highlight is delivered to your employees.

Results Ranking

Search results are prioritized by exact matches to the keywords searched first, and then they phrase out of order on similar matches. Each search result is paired with a relevancy ranking percentage to give your employees the ability to note at a glance if they have found what they are looking for.
